Over the past decade, Q has held many roles, including Creative Technologist, Architect, Innovation Officer, front-end Developer, and Futurist.
At the core of his practice, focusing on emerging technology has allowed him to explore many diverse facets of the discipline. From creating new products for multinational organisations as an architect to pushing the boundaries of research into emerging devices and behaviours at Meta, exploring future trajectories of technology through spatial computing for the United Nations, and pushing the boundaries of what computing might be in 10 years. Q excels not only as a practitioner but as a leader in all fields of design. In parallel, his personal research work is focused on emerging futures practice. Due to the strategic nature of this work, the majority of it remains private, pre-launched or under strict non-disclosure clauses. If you want to see examples of Q work or discuss particular projects, please get in touch here.
Meta X BMW Research
If we get it right, this technology could revolutionize travel in cars, trains, planes, and beyond, unlocking new forms of hands-free communication, entertainment, and utility. Meta and BMW: Taking AR and VR Experiences on the Road.

Relevant Representations of Reality
What are the most relevant shared representations of reality, and what value would that create for people, groups and societies?
Spatial Audio Navigation In Augmented Reality
With the introduction of AI glasses into everyday life, we have a unique opportunity to explore new modalities for accessibility for users of all abilities. One of those modalities is the usage of spatial audio to create guided navigation for blind or limited vision(temporary or permanent) users.
Context-Aware Personal Computing
Demonstrate possible ways to set up this rule: When you sit on the sofa with a book, the lamp turns on.
The Fight Against Climate Change
Several studies indicate that being able to experience the impact of climate change allows people to connect emotionally with the problems and make them more likely to act on that feeling.

Our Time
An installation designed as a ‘spatial instrument’ that reveals the relationship between expectation and perception in physical space.
I thrive in small, scrappy, constantly evolving, and taking responsibility for setting the direction and leading it to execution. I’m constantly working across multidisciplinary teams to ensure the core idea is communicated, the team is organised, and the planning has a clear layout. I’ve truly thrived working in a loosely structured environment. There has always been this element of enjoying the uncertainty and constantly figuring out what to do next. There is always this element of introducing a bit of rigour, but not too much, so it does not kill the team's spirit. I’m fundamentally motivated to make the world a better place through technology where I’m most passionate about 0-1 product concepts and with bold ideas in areas including, haptics, computer vision, audio, user experience, and perceptual psychology, working to solve novel problems from first principles and ideas that are reviewed by leadership.
